
Drone Show Illuminates Indonesian Heritage Agency Launch at Museum Benteng Vredeburg
In a landmark event held at Museum Benteng Vredeburg, the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology inaugurated the Indonesian Heritage Agency (IHA), an agency dedicated to preserving and revitalizing the nation’s cultural heritage. The launch was graced by Minister Nadiem Makarim, Yogyakarta’s Governor Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X, and various cultural figures, alongside distinguished guests from neighboring nations. Minister Makarim emphasized the importance of museums and heritage sites as open, inclusive learning spaces aligned with the “Merdeka Belajar” (Freedom to Learn) initiative, inviting the public to explore the richness of Indonesia’s heritage.
The event was marked by a mesmerizing drone show and visual performances that brought Indonesia’s historical journey to life, featuring a stunning video mapping display on the museum’s walls and a water fountain choreography. With this launch, the IHA aims to create a dynamic platform that strengthens cultural heritage as a cornerstone of national identity and a source of pride for future generations.
